Mammoth Music
Billed as Alaska's musician superstore since 1991, Mammoth is primarily an instrument sales-and-repair shop but keeps a vinyl section and stocks Record Store Day allocations. It's a working-musician haunt rather than a tourist stop.
The move: Mess around on the instruments together, flip through the vinyl section, and dare each other to play something on a guitar neither of you knows how to use.
