Southeastern Railway Museum
Georgia's official transportation history museum stacks more than 90 pieces of rolling stock across 30 acres, including presidential private railcars and vintage streetcars and buses, around a restored 1871 passenger depot — and general admission includes an actual ride on either the historic train or the park train.
The move: Spend a Thursday-through-Sunday morning climbing through retired locomotives and cabooses together, take the included train ride, and browse the gift shop before it closes at 4:30pm.
