Lala's Little Nugget

It's been Christmas inside this dive bar, non-stop, since 1972 — Santas, ornaments, and holiday lights cover every surface in July the same as December, and it's a repeat Austin Chronicle 'Best Dive Bar' finalist.

The move: Order a cheap can of beer and play the jukebox under the year-round tinsel — it's a good low-key second stop after dinner in Crestview/Brentwood, no reservation, no pretense.
