Billed as Montana's original indoor urban axe-throwing venue, Lookout's Bozeman outpost sits on Pronghorn Trail off the main drag rather than downtown. Certified coaches walk first-timers through grip and stance, then you book a lane and chuck hatchets at wood targets, with sessions running an hour or two. It's a hands-on, slightly menacing alternative to a normal night out.

The move: Book a lane, let a coach teach you both to land a stick, then keep score over best-of-five rounds.
