A French-Caribbean fragrance house that opened its first-ever U.S. shop on Market Street, where a 90-minute session has you blending your own scent from hundreds of oils and premixed accords — arrive scent-free, since even your deodorant can throw off the nose. Their house Charleston line is named for local landmarks: Verdigris, Indigo Row, Pink House.

The move: Sit down together and blend a joint signature scent (or dueling ones) from the wall of oils, then leave with a 55ml bottle, atomizer, and a little perfuming workbook to take home.
