The Futuro Flying Saucer House

Perched on a steep hillside overlooking the Cincinnati skyline, this retro-futuristic 1968 ellipsoid home was designed by Finnish architect Matti Suuronen as one of fewer than 100 prefabricated fiberglass Futuro homes ever built worldwide.

The move: Park along Wright Street to marvel at the silver spaceship perched on aircraft-style legs, then head downhill to MainStrasse Village for craft beers and soft pretzels.
