Coeur d'Alene Public Art Walk (Otocast Audio Tour)

The city's Arts Commission has scattered around 80 public artworks across downtown, Riverstone, and the Atlas waterfront, many of them rotating leased sculptures through the ArtCurrents program, so the lineup changes year to year. The free Otocast app pins each piece to a map and plays the artist narrating their own work in their own voice as you walk up to it. It turns an ordinary lakeside stroll into a self-paced, ever-changing outdoor sculpture gallery.

The move: Download Otocast, start at Riverstone, and let the map lead you piece to piece along the water, taking turns reading each other the artist's story before you hit play to see who guessed closest.

📍 Before you go Because many sculptures are leased through ArtCurrents and rotate annually, specific pieces may move or disappear. The Otocast app is free; just bring earbuds and a charged phone.

Where: Downtown, Riverstone Park & Atlas Waterfront Park, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814
