Camp Chase Confederate Cemetery

This historic Civil War-era cemetery holds the remains of over 2,200 Confederate prisoners of war who died in captivity at the camp. It is famously haunted by the 'Lady in Gray,' believed to be Louisiana Ransburgh Briggs, a Southern sympathizer who still walks the grounds and leaves fresh flowers on the grave of soldier Benjamin Allen.
