Chief Leatherlips Monument

A massive, 12-foot-tall limestone portrait of Wyandot Chief Leatherlips built directly into a hillside overlooking the Scioto River.

The move: Walk up the grassy path to stand atop the giant stone head for a panoramic view of the river, then enjoy a sunset picnic in Scioto Park.
