Bewitched Denton
Bewitched Denton is Denton's first brick-and-mortar pagan and metaphysical shop, operating since 2021 inside the historic building that housed the town's very first pharmacy, complete with a community altar, herb selection, crystals, and on-site tarot readers and healers most days. It's LGBTQ+ and women-owned, with a welcoming, non-appropriative ethos and a calendar packed with workshops and community events.
The move: Browse the ethically sourced crystal collection together and pick one for each other, then sit for a joint or back-to-back tarot reading with one of the resident readers — finish by leaving an offering at the community altar and exploring the walkable Bryan Street neighborhood.
📍 Before you go You'll find the shop in a historic building on the corner of Bryan and Congress, a short hop from the UNT campus and a few minutes from Denton's Downtown Square rather than directly on it — look for the old first-pharmacy storefront, and note there's usually parking right at the shop, which is rarer than the metered spots around the Square. It works as a low-key, walk-in browse any time of day, though resident tarot readers and healers tend to be on-site most days rather than guaranteed, so it's worth checking ahead if a reading is the main draw. Pair it with the walkable Square nearby for coffee, records, and dinner.
