Park Hill Treasures

An antique and artisan market crammed into a former bank branch on a stretch of East Colfax most people only drive through. The real find is the old bank vault, still standing, now leased by artist Catherine Beattie as a tiny studio where she sells jewelry made from repurposed antique tins alongside hand-painted furniture, the goods 'so precious they're kept in a vault.' Around 85 Denver and Colorado vendors fill the rest of the space with vintage, art, glassware, and oddities. Nobody puts this on a Denver itinerary.

The move: Treasure-hunt the booths with a silly rule like 'find the weirdest object under $20,' then duck into the vault and pick out a small piece of Catherine Beattie's tin jewelry as a souvenir of the trip.

📍 Before you go It sits right at the corner of E Colfax and Kearney in Park Hill, on a fast, drive-through stretch of arterial that's easy to blow past — watch for the old bank-branch facade and you've found it. Park free on the residential side streets off Colfax, but it's a neighborhood, so keep it quiet and don't block driveways. Being indoors, it's a solid rainy- or cold-day pick year-round. Stock turns over fast and good pieces sell quickly, so go early and don't assume something will still be there next visit. Hours shift seasonally — check ahead. Make a loop of the wider East Colfax/Park Hill stretch.
