Divine Times Vintage
Two floors of rotating vintage vendors in up-and-coming Highland Park, built around owner Jerrica Yasumura's lifelong affinity for hippie culture and family thrifting. Expect groovy 60s and 70s furniture, racks of second-hand clothing and a constantly changing cast of local curators, so no two visits are the same.
The move: Dress each other for a fake decade party using only what's on the racks, take a photo on the groovy furniture, and let the cheapest find win.
📍 Before you go You'll find it on Euclid Avenue, the spine of Highland Park's historic business district at Euclid and Sixth — a walkable strip of 1890s-to-1940s brick storefronts on Des Moines' North Side, so it's easy to make an afternoon of it. There's a back parking lot, so skip hunting for a street spot. The vendor lineup rotates and the upstairs floor fills out best on a weekend or late-week afternoon. Build a loop nearby: Slow Down Coffee, Hiland Bakery's donuts, the Des Moines Mercantile general store, and Art Terrarium's plants are all within strolling distance. Once a year that back lot hosts the outdoor Highland Happening vintage market.
