Ray Bradbury Center

Tucked away on the IU Indianapolis campus, this center is one of the largest single-author archives in the country. It preserves over 100,000 pages of Ray Bradbury's manuscripts, his personal correspondence, and a faithful reconstruction of his Los Angeles home basement office, complete with his actual writing desk and typewriter.

The move: Schedule a free, pre-registered tour to stand in the recreated office of the legendary sci-fi author and view rare pulp magazines from his youth.

Where: Cavanaugh Hall Room 121, 425 University Blvd, Indianapolis, IN 46202

Hours: Added 2026-07-21 — confirm current hours before you go.
