A massive 3,000-square-foot cooperative blacksmithing makerspace where master bladesmith James Wahls teaches the old-world craft of forging metal.

The move: Sign up for the Railroad Spike Knife Class to heat raw steel in a forge, strike it on an anvil, grind the bevels, and temper the blade to walk away with a custom, hand-forged knife and matching sheath.
