Operating out of a completely unmarked stone building that once housed a medical clinic, this James Beard-nominated cocktail den has no sign, no beer, and no wine. Guests must knock on the door and wait for the exterior light to turn green before they can enter the intimate, ruler-topped bar.

The move: Stand outside the quiet stone facade on Nieman Road, wait for the red light to flip to green, and once inside, order a meticulously crafted, acid-adjusted cocktail at the bar counter made entirely of rulers.
