Entry No. 19 — the Las Vegas file — filed under: glassblowing
Domsky Glass
A 9,800-square-foot working glass studio tucked in an industrial strip a few blocks off the Strip, where husband-and-wife artists Larry and Barbara Domsky (whose blown glass hangs in McCarran's Terminal 3 and at Wynn Las Vegas) fire up furnaces most weekends and teach the public to fuse and shape glass with their own hands rather than just watch through a rope line.
The move: Sign up together for the fused-glass pendant workshop (10-11:30am, each person crafts three jewelry pendants from molten glass) or catch one of their first Thursday/Friday/Saturday open-house nights (6-10pm) for a live demo before booking a private team-building or couples glassblowing session.
