Entry No. 40 — the Las Vegas file — filed under: haunted

Fox Ridge Park

An ordinary Henderson neighborhood park by daylight, locally famous after dark for one specific swing that's said to move on still, windless nights, sometimes with a child's laughter or crying carried on the air — attributed to a boy killed in a nearby car crash.

The move: Bring a blanket and arrive near midnight to sit by the swing set and see whether the one swing moves without wind — low-key, free, and five minutes off the freeway.

Where: 420 Valle Verde Dr, Henderson, NV 89014
