Heigold House Façade

A standalone, carved 1857 stone house facade with no home attached, built by German stonemason Christian Heigold to publicly demonstrate his patriotic loyalty following anti-immigrant riots.

The move: Walk up the stone steps in the median garden on Frankfort Avenue to frame photos straight through the open front doorway with nothing behind it but open lawn.
