Annieglass Company Store & Studio

Ann Morhauser's patented "slumping" technique — precious metal or color fused to glass and gravity-melted over a ceramic mold in a kiln, a process she holds a patent and FDA approval for — happens in plain view here, with a wine bar bolted onto the workshop floor so you can watch artisans work a piece while you sip. Her glass is in the Smithsonian's permanent collection; the Watsonville studio is where it's actually made.

The move: Book the $85 Glass Coasters session (or the walk-in $45 DIY Pearl Earrings bar) at the on-site Craftbar, then wander the seconds room for deeply discounted slumped-glass pieces with the same fused-metal shimmer as the museum-collection work, wine in hand.

Where: 310 Harvest Drive, Watsonville, CA 95076

Hours: Added 2026-07-20 — confirm current hours before you go.
