The Shop: Oddities at Unique NOLA

A cluttered French Quarter store that's part hoodoo supply, part taxidermy-as-art, part jumble of random ephemera. Cases hold taxidermy and wet specimens (bats, bugs, frogs) next to a large stash of antique radium glass and what's billed as the city's largest tarot selection. Dressed candles, voodoo dolls, and vintage glassware fill out the shelves.

The move: Pick a tarot deck together, then let the shopkeeper talk you both through the weirdest specimen jar on the shelf.
