A small, family-owned hot shop and gallery tucked into an industrial stretch east of downtown, where beginners get handed a blowpipe and gather molten glass off a roaring furnace with an instructor talking them through it the whole time — no glass-shop-tour glass, this is you actually shaping it.

The move: Take the beginner glassblowing session together (1-hour or 3-hour options, up to 6 people per group) and each pull your own paperweight or ornament out of the 2,000°F glory hole.
