Christopher Marley: Exquisite Creatures
Artist Christopher Marley arranges thousands of preserved insects, fossils, sea life, and minerals into obsessively symmetrical bio-sculptures. The exhibit holds over 500 works built from more than 10,000 ethically sourced specimens, turning rows of beetles and butterflies into something closer to stained glass than a natural-history drawer. It is a temporary run on the Seattle waterfront, currently scheduled through September 2026.
The move: Slow-walk the specimen walls and pick the single arrangement you'd each hang in your home, then compare.
