Fire Iron Forge

A working blacksmith shop in Rathdrum, Idaho, just north of Coeur d'Alene and about 40 minutes from Spokane, that teaches real forge skills in one-hour blocks, with a dedicated Date Night Blacksmithing track alongside fundamentals and bladesmithing. You stand at the anvil heating and hammering steel rather than watching a demo. Rates run about $30-35 an hour, so a session stays approachable. It is the kind of soot-and-sparks evening most couples never think is actually available to them.
