Jefferson College Observatory

Built in partnership with the St. Louis Astronomical Society, this observatory features a 16-inch research-grade telescope housed under a classic dome. Their monthly 'Aim for the Stars' events offer the public laser-guided constellation tours, meteorite exhibits, and deep-space viewing.

The move: Attend an 'Aim for the Stars' Saturday night event to touch a real meteorite, learn to navigate the night sky with a green laser pointer, and peer through the massive 16-inch dome telescope.
