The Dalí Museum — Quirky Museums & Collections in Tampa

Entry No. 48 — the Tampa file — filed under: art

The Dalí Museum

On the St. Petersburg waterfront, a hurricane-proof concrete box erupts with "the Enigma" — a free-form geodesic glass bubble of 1,062 triangular panes — housing the largest collection of Salvador Dalí’s work outside Spain, including six of his monumental masterworks.

The move: Time-slot tickets, wander the melting-clock masterworks together, climb the spiral "helical" staircase, then get lost in the Avant-garden labyrinth and the museum’s rotating VR/immersive Dalí experience.

📍 Before you go It’s in St. Petersburg, ~20 min across the bay from downtown Tampa. Timed tickets; the immersive/VR experience is a separate add-on.

Where: 1 Dali Blvd, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Hours: Added 2026-07-21 — confirm current hours before you go.
