Old Cowtown Museum Overnight Ghost Hunt
Old Cowtown is a 23-acre living-history museum of 54 relocated and re-created 1800s buildings, and after closing it occasionally becomes a guided overnight paranormal investigation. Sessions run roughly 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. with provided equipment, a beginner training class, and access to the buildings flagged as most active, including the Murdock House, the jail, a mortuary, and a church. It runs only on scheduled hunt nights and frequently sells out, so it is waitlist-and-book-ahead rather than walk-up.
The move: Spend a late night roaming candleless 1800s buildings with handheld ghost-hunting gear, taking turns asking questions in the dark of the Murdock House.
📍 Before you go Scheduled event nights only and often sold out / waitlist. Roughly 8 p.m.-2 a.m., ~$20 deposit per person, collateral (phone/keys) held per group, equipment provided.
