Zen Zone Alaska Sound Bath
A residential home-studio sound bath run by a woman named Evie, using 26 hand-hammered Himalayan singing bowls, clear quartz crystal bowls, chimes, drums and a 32-inch Paiste Saturn gong. The doors lock at 7pm sharp and no late entry is allowed so the sound space stays undisturbed.
The move: Reserve two spots ahead of time (it's a small home studio, not drop-in), arrive 15 minutes early, lie down under blankets side by side and get washed over by the gong. Show up before the doors lock.
