Attached to Eight Sushi Lounge and marked only by a subtle '8' at the back of the building, this deliberately dim room hangs futuristic orbs from the ceiling over a Japanese-inflected cocktail list — the room is dark enough that you're meant to pause in the doorway and let your eyes adjust before finding a seat.

The move: Sushi next door at Eight, then slip into After Eight for a nightcap under the dangling orb lights.
