Parma Motor-Vu Drive-In

A family-run single-screen drive-in on Highway 95 that has been flickering to life since 1953, one of the last handful still running in Idaho. The season runs from spring into fall with double features that mix first-run hits with the occasional cult classic, all under the open Treasure Valley sky. Gates open before dusk so you can stake out a spot, tune the audio through your car radio, and watch the screen glow as the stars come out behind it.

The move: Pack blankets and snacks, back the car in early for a sunset spot, and stay for the second feature long after dark.

📍 Before you go Seasonal (opens around April, closes in fall); about 35 miles west of Boise, and double features run late, so plan for a midnight-ish drive home.
