Gateway is Boulder's old-school family fun park, a sprawling 11-acre outdoor lot with two water-filled 18-hole mini-golf courses, what it touts as Colorado's longest go-kart track, batting cages, a human maze, a driving range, and an indoor arcade. It is unpretentious and a little throwback, which is exactly the charm for a low-stakes competitive date. It runs year-round with consistent daily hours, but most of the action is outdoor and weather-dependent, so save it for a clear day.
