Winner's Circle is a sprawling Longmont entertainment hall pairing digitally-scored duckpin bowling and hatchet-hurling lanes with a no-ice "curling" game (closer to a giant shuffleboard - no sweeping, no standing on the surface), all wrapped around a full restaurant and sports bar. Duckpin is the fast, oddball cousin of regular bowling, with squat pins, palm-sized balls that have no finger holes, and lanes short enough that frames fly by. An expansive 50-game arcade, mini golf, and live music on weekends fill in the gaps, making it a genuine variety night rather than a single-activity stop.

The move: Split the night between a couple of duckpin frames and a head-to-head axe-throwing match, then settle the score over the arcade.
