Tucked into the basement of the historic Kimpton Armory Hotel, Tune Up Bar occupies what was once the National Guard's military band room — hence the name, and the original 1941 Guard sign still on the wall. It's a low-lit underground room with rustic decor, local art, and a stage that hosts free live music several nights a week. The vibe is intimate and energetic rather than hushed, with craft cocktails and pub food.

The move: Head downstairs to the old band room for cocktails and catch a free live set on the basement stage.
