Busy Beaver Button Museum
Tucked inside the working Busy Beaver Button Co. factory, this free single-obsession museum preserves over 25,000 pin-back buttons, the oldest precursors dating to George Washington's inauguration and an Abraham Lincoln campaign pin. The collection runs through every year since the pin-back was patented in 1896, covering political races, band merch, and protest movements. Many buttons live in pull-out drawers you're invited to open and examine yourself.
The move: Pull open the archive drawers together and hunt for the weirdest or most absurd button each of you can find, then watch buttons being pressed in the adjoining factory.
