Chicago's oldest architectural salvage house is a 60,000-square-foot warehouse maze of stained-glass church windows, entire carved staircases, thousands of antique doors, and chandeliers hung so densely from the rafters that the ceiling itself becomes the installation — it functions as a working shop but reads like a walk-through art environment built from three decades of Chicago demolitions.

The move: Browse Thu–Sun during open hours (12–5pm Thu, 10–5pm Fri–Sun) — nothing is roped off, so you can genuinely wander and touch a century of salvaged Chicago architecture, then step into the courtyard garden used for photo shoots.
