Honey Eatery & Social Club (Social Club basement)

Beneath the popular Honey Eatery on Sherman Ave is a speakeasy-style basement bar called the Social Club, with a low-ceilinged, intimate feel and an award-winning bartender behind the stick. It runs as a private-event space most of the week but opens to the public Thursday through Saturday evenings for small plates, full-bar cocktails, and live entertainment ranging from singer-songwriters to comedy nights and touring bands. Signature pours include house creations like the Strawberry Robot and The Traitor.

The move: Book a Thursday-through-Saturday public night, head downstairs for cocktails, and catch whoever's playing the live set in the basement.
