Dolly on Bishop

The lesser-known Oak Cliff sibling of vintage emporium Dolly Python, carrying old photos, taxidermy, folk art, oddities, postmortem items and weird collectibles — the quieter, more under-the-radar half of the operation.

The move: Make it a Bishop Arts stop: dig through the postmortem photos and taxidermy booths together, then pick a single eerie keepsake before grabbing coffee nearby.

📍 Before you go You'll find it on North Bishop Avenue, in the heart of the Bishop Arts District near the Bishop-and-Davis intersection, about two miles southwest of downtown Dallas. The storefront is unassuming and easy to walk past, so watch the street numbers. The district is compact and walkable, which makes browsing here then drifting to a nearby coffee shop or bar an easy afternoon. Street and lot parking exists but tightens badly on weekends, so come earlier in the day or ride the free Dallas Streetcar in from downtown. Pair it with the rest of Bishop Arts on foot.
