Future Drawn oneLINE Gallery — Easter Art Hunt
A working line-art gallery on Tennyson runs a hunt almost nobody catches: framed, signed original oneLINE ink drawings get hidden along the street, and whoever finds one keeps it. The only clues drop on the gallery's social feeds the morning of, so you have to already be following them to even know it's happening. Strike out and you can still walk into the shop for a free signed limited print. The single-line drawings — one continuous stroke that never crosses itself — are the gallery's whole identity.
The move: Follow @futuredrawn ahead of time, then spend a morning combing the 39th-to-46th block of Tennyson decoding clue drops together — winner keeps the original, loser buys coffee at one of the block's cafes.
📍 Before you go The gallery is a small storefront at 4420 Tennyson St, up near 44th in Historic Berkeley — part of the Tennyson Cultural District that runs roughly 38th to 46th, so the hunt's "clue blocks" are just steps from the front door. Street parking along the corridor is free and usually easy. Crucially, you can't stumble into the hunt: it's a periodic event announced only on @futuredrawn, so follow them well ahead. The block is liveliest on the first Friday of each month for the evening Culture Walk; gallery days are limited and shift seasonally, so check ahead. Pair it with the cafes on the strip, or walk up to Berkeley Lake Park at 46th.
