Rogue Planet Music
A founder-run record shop tucked into the Roosevelt Shopping Center just off I-235, started in 2017 by two Des Moines natives and best friends. It leans into vintage vinyl, deep crate-digging across all genres, and hi-fi gear that they also service and repair, so it doubles as a haven for analog obsessives.
The move: Crate-dig blind: trade off pulling records purely by cover art, then have the staff help you spin a couple before deciding what comes home.
