Red Pole Park

A surreal, interactive outdoor art installation consisting of 65 towering, bright red utility poles painted with red dots along the pathway. The poles, ranging up to 35 feet tall, represent an abstract grove of trees symbolizing the city's growth, with solar-activated blue lights that twinkle like lighthouses at night.

The move: Rent a couple of bikes and ride along the Southfield City Centre Trail, stopping to walk through this vibrant, geometric forest of red poles.
