New Beverly Cinema Midnight Movies

One of the oldest revival houses in L.A., the New Bev has been running double features since 1978 and is now owned by Quentin Tarantino. Everything screens on film, 35mm or 16mm, often from Tarantino's own private print collection. The late-night and midnight slots lean into cult, horror, and grindhouse oddities, and the box office reopens about an hour before showtime to release a fresh batch of tickets for shows that look sold out.

The move: Grab a midnight cult screening on actual film, split concession-stand snacks, and argue about it on the sidewalk afterward.

📍 Before you go Programming changes constantly; check the calendar for actual midnight titles. Cash and card accepted; popular shows sell out but a new batch of tickets drops at the door about an hour before.
