Black Cat Alley

Hidden behind the Oriental Theatre between Prospect and Farwell Avenues, this once-desolate alleyway was transformed into a dense, open-air gallery of street art and murals. The walls feature rotating large-scale works including surrealist creatures, 3D optical illusions, and vibrant pop art.

The move: Grab a boba tea or coffee around the corner on E North Ave and stroll through the narrow brick alleyway to spot the hidden cat silhouettes tucked into the murals.

Where: 1530 E Ivanhoe Pl, Milwaukee, WI 53202
