Pearl Hour

An easy-to-walk-past storefront on Lighthouse Ave hides a color-drenched classic cocktail bar named for a John Steinbeck line in Cannery Row about "the hour of pearl" — the interval between day and night when time stops and examines itself.

The move: Catch the Sunday-night jazz set by the Zach Westfall Quartet over a classic cocktail, or time it for the monthly Dirty Martini Cabaret burlesque night for drink specials and live jazz-and-burlesque programming.

Where: 214 Lighthouse Ave, Monterey, CA 93940

Hours: Added 2026-07-20 — confirm current hours before you go.
