The Forge Nashville

A 23,000-square-foot nonprofit makerspace where anvils and welding rigs sit alongside a public gallery — you can walk in off Murfreesboro Pike and leave having actually forged a steel rose or run a MIG welder for the first time.

The move: Book the metal forming (steel rose) class together and each hammer out an iron flower at the anvil to take home — a literal metal bloom neither of you could buy off a shelf.
