Olfactory NYC — Make Your Own Perfume

At Olfactory NYC you build a custom fragrance by picking one of nine core scents and layering in accords until it feels like yours. A staff "scentologist" guides you, testing options on paper and skin, then bottles and labels your finished perfume on the spot. It's a small, design-forward shop with locations in Nolita and the West Village rather than a chain experience.

The move: Blend a personal scent for each other at the perfume bar, swapping notes until you each walk out with a custom bottle.
