Big Toothbrush and Toothpaste

A roughly 12-foot metal toothbrush leans beside a 6-foot tube of squeezed-out toothpaste outside a pediatric dentistry. The bristles look like fiber-optic cables, and despite years outdoors the whole thing stays improbably pristine.

The move: A two-minute roadside detour for a gloriously absurd photo op. Grab tacos nearby and make the giant toothbrush the punchline of the evening.

📍 Before you go The sculpture stands on the front lawn of Small World Pediatric Dentistry along NW 50th St in the Mayfair area of northwest Oklahoma City, set back enough to be framed easily from the sidewalk or the office's small lot. It's a working children's clinic, so keep your visit quick and respectful, park briefly rather than lingering, and don't block patient traffic. There's no entrance fee and nothing to buy; the appeal is purely the photo. Daylight makes the brightly colored bristles read best. Since the date idea leans on tacos, the surrounding NW 50th and May Avenue corridor has plenty of taquerias to pair it with afterward.
