Silver King Mill

The Silver King Mill is a massive, multi-story historic ore-processing facility built in 1921 after a fire destroyed the original structure. Serving one of Park City's most lucrative silver mines, the mill utilized advanced froth flotation technology until operations ceased in 1953. Today, the towering wooden ruins and nearby headframe stand as iconic landmarks on the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort.

The move: Hike the Bonanza Mine Trail or ride the chairlift to view and photograph the towering, weathered wooden mill and nearby headframe against the scenic mountain backdrop.

📍 Before you go The mill is located on the slopes of Park City Mountain Resort. While hikers and skiers can easily view the exterior from nearby trails, the structure itself is structurally unstable, fenced off, and strictly closed to entry.
