Union Station (Ogden)

In 1927 the station built an actual pedestrian subway under all eleven tracks so passengers didn't have to cross in front of moving trains; when passenger rail ended the tunnel entrances were sealed for safety, and a 2008 platform repaving accidentally uncovered a stretch of it. Staff separately report a woman who still walks the upper hallways after the museums close for the night.

The move: Tour the free-to-browse railroad, firearms, and classic-car museums inside, then ask a docent where the sealed passenger tunnel runs beneath the platforms.
