The Ghost Tracks

For decades, drivers parked in neutral on these tracks and felt their cars roll forward, 'pushed' by the ghosts of children supposedly killed when a school bus stalled and was hit by a train -- an accident that Snopes traces to 1938 Utah, not Texas. In 2018 Union Pacific regraded the crossing specifically to kill the illusion, but people still detour here to test it.

The move: Put the car in neutral at the crossing and watch whether the old trick still works after the regrading -- then argue about what you actually just felt.
