The Interval at Long Now

A cocktail bar built as a literal museum to deep time: an eight-foot mechanical orrery, a floor-to-ceiling 'Manual for Civilization' library, a chalkboard-drawing robot, and a slow, working prototype of the Long Now Foundation's 10,000-Year Clock share the room with the drink menu.

The move: Order a barrel-aged cocktail, read the plaque on the clock prototype's escapement, and argue over which books you'd each add to a library meant to survive an apocalypse.
