Meow Wolf: House of Eternal Return — Art & Immersive in Santa Fe

Entry No. 30 — the Santa Fe file — filed under: immersive art

Meow Wolf: House of Eternal Return

The original Meow Wolf: a 20,000-square-foot immersive art world inside a former bowling alley (bought for the collective by George R.R. Martin) where a seemingly ordinary Victorian house cracks open into the surreal. Climb through the fireplace, step into the fridge, and you are suddenly inside a glowing forest, a neon mastodon ribcage, and a warren of interdimensional rooms.

The move: Book a timed slot and split up inside the house to each chase a different secret passage — through the fireplace, into the dryer — then find each other in the glowing forest and trade what you discovered. Give it 2-3 hours; it rewards touching, opening, and crawling into everything.

📍 Before you go Timed tickets — book ahead, especially on weekends; allow 2-3 hours.
